As part of our annual away day the NorthStandard Technology team, based in Newcastle and London, returned to Ngage Community Allotment this summer for another day of volunteering. I’ve been impressed by North Standard’s commitment to volunteering and supporting the local community. Many companies talk about these outcomes, but NorthStandard have created a strong volunteering culture.
There were about 60 colleagues taking part, it was great to make such a change so quickly through a wide range of tasks, all very different from using a keyboard!
It was great to chat to passersby who really appreciated the work being done, and colleagues were also able to get to know each other better with a shared goal.
